Huye : Impinja zitarengeje ibyumweru 2 zatoraguwe zajugunywe na ba nyina


Mu bitaro bya Kabutare hari impinja ebyiri z’abahungu zajugunywe n’ababyeyi batamenyekanye, rumwe rukaba rwaratowe mu bisi bya Huye, urundi rutoragurwa mu mudugudu wa Taba.
Nk’uko tubikesha Radiyo Rwanda, izi mpinja zose ntizirarenza ibyumweru bibiri aho urwatoraguwe mu bisi bya Huye rumaze icyumweru kirenga rutoraguwe naho urundi rwo ntiharamara iminsi itatu rutoraguwe.
Umuyobozi mukuru w’ibitaro bya Kabutare birimo kwita kuri izi mpinja, Dr. Saleh Niyonzima avuga ko nyuma yo kubona izi mpinja zatangiye kwitabwaho n’ibitaro, yongera anasaba abakobwa cyangwa abagore bajugunya impinja kujya birinda gusama aho kujugunya izo mpinja.

Si ubwa mbere mu karere ka Huye havuzwe impinja zijugunywa na ba nyina bakimara kuzibyara, nk’uko bivugwa na Niwemugeni Christine, umuyobozi wungirije w’Akarere ka Huye, ariko kikaba ari ikibazo gisa n’aho cyaburiwe umuti.

Meet SOS mother Nikuze who won the Helmet Kutin award

  Nikuze Adrolata, a committed woman who spent 29 years at SOS Children’s Village Gikongoro in Nyamagabe District caring for vulnerable children who lost parental care, has received Helmet Kutin award. The Helmut Kutin Award recognizes extraordinary performances of SOS Children’s Villages co-workers who care for vulnerable children and have laid the foundation for them to have an independent future in 136 countries where the organization operates. SOS mothers like Nikuze live with children in a family house in SOS Children’s Villages where they support the children’s individual needs and establish strong bonds with them like a biological mother. Nikuze never got married and devoted her life to caring for vulnerable children until today. She was selected after successfully completing comprehensive six-month training on child protection and alternative care for children who lost parental care.
